The Cerebrum

The Function Of The Cerebrum

The Cerebrum is the largest part of the brain and it is located at the front of your brain. This part of your brain is the thinking  and reasoning part of your brain as well as the control center of your voluntary muscles (muscles that move when you want them to; walking is an example of the use of voluntary muscles). All of your memeories are stored within your Cerebrum. The Cerebrum has two parts; one on either side of your brain. The right side controls the left side of your body and the left side controls the right side of your body.Without your Cerebrum, it would be impossible for you to run or even solve a math problem.

The Cerebral Cortex

The Cerebral Cortex is made up of four parts called lobes. These lobes are called the frontal lobe(responsable forreasoning, emotions, and problem solving ), parietal lobe(responsable for recognition, movement, and orientation),occipital lobe(responasble for visual procession) and  temporal lobe(responsable for perception and recognition of auditory stimuli, memory, and speech).
